The Weekend Starts Here....

Well, personally, I have to say it’s been a marvellous week. First, we sent Manchester United home with their tales between their legs on Sunday and last night got a great away win at Wolves. It’s seriously starting to look as though I’m going to need to update my LinkedIn profile 😉

Right, on with this week’s picks.

A great post on the subject of perspective (and I hope Hazel gets to Disney soon!)  [Doug Boneparth 3 min read]

We’re all susceptible to ‘mental rigidity’ (and that video nearly made my head explode )  [Peter Lazaroff 4 min read]

“Money flows into most funds after good performance, and goes out when bad performance follows.” (John Bogle).  Why Do We Chase Past Performance And What Can We Do About It?  [ Joe Wiggins 4 min read]

“Spend extravagantly on the things you love, and cut costs mercilessly on the things you don’t.”  [Michael Batnick 2 min read]

And finally. I thought these photographs of trees were stunning.

After a week in London, I will be travelling back home tomorrow. It’s been a grey and miserable week, so I’m looking forward to going home to some sunshine. And playing this on a continual loop 😂 😂 😂

Whatever you’re up to this weekend, I hope it’s a good one.
